DEAR LEGAL WIZ,
I have 3 questions
What happens if a will is not probated?
Does a will have to be registered and can it be probated if not registered?
How do I deal with situation where I had a joint account with my mom, and when my mom became ill due to a stroke and is unable to talk, I discovered the bank book missing and I don’t know the details of the account. I was away at college and discovered it when I went home on holidays.

Dear CH.,
Good Day,
Thanks for contacting this website for information. No a Will does not have to be registered, and yes it can be probated. As for having a joint account, that’s a job for your attorney at law to assit in hunting the precious account. There are specific institutions they can contact on your behalf.
